To Floss, Or Not To Floss....

To Floss, Or Not To Floss....

Most people think flossing is only recommended to remove food from between our teeth, as well as built up plaque. While this is true, what most people don't know is that flossing daily aids in preventing dental decay and inflammation of the gums !

Sadly, flossing is said to be one of the most under performed activities within oral care . In fact, research conducted by American Academy of Periodontology, says that 36% of Americans over the age of 30 claim they’d rather clean a toilet bowl than floss.

At Brushee, we've heard all the reasons people give for not flossing. Such as, “It's not convenient or I'm too busy”.

See the real issue is:

  • Most people don't have time for an oral care regimen throughout the day.
  • I mean let's be honest, who wants to carry around a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss on them at all times. (Crickets.)

    So we say:

    • Simply carry a Brushee Pocket Toothbrush, and floss between meals
    • If you don't let the food build up throughout the day, chances are you wont have to floss as heavily at night (If at all).

Learn to make it habit. Carry a Brushee with you today!
